Stories that transport.

Images that immerse.

An anthology of writing and art that captures a sense of place.

The Atlas Thread project curates and celebrates creative work from a single location at a time through artfully designed anthology books. In print format, because your attention is already scattered enough.

CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS

ISSUE #1:

BAJA CALIFORNIA SUR

Stories surround us. Tap into the stories of any one place and find yourself immersed. Maybe it’s a love letter to a cactus. Or a visual that cuts through the waves. Give us the grit of a dusty ranchero night, the untold tale of a humpback whale, the unexpected encounters that only the desert knows.

Whether you write, take photos, draw, or tell stories in ways we haven’t thought of— we want to hear from you.

Submit your work for consideration.

We’re looking for short literary pieces and visual art such as:

  • Short stories (fiction or non-fiction)

  • Poetry

  • Profiles of local characters or places

  • Photography

  • Illustrations

  • Essays and personal narratives

  • Recipes

Check out our submission guidelines for more detail.

Submissions open until June 15th, 2025.
